Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioners. 2.

The challenge in this Petition is to an order dated 4th August 2025 passed by the Maintenance Tribunal under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. 3.

In view of the Division Bench judgment of this Court, Jagdish ARUN RAMCHANDRA SANKPAL Pitambar Pawar Vs Pitambar Pundalik Pawar & Ors,1 an appeal against ARUN RAMCHANDRA SANKPAL Date: 2026.01.13 09:36:38 +0530 an order passed by the Maintenance Tribunal under Section 16 of the Act, 2007 is maintainable even at the instance of the children of the senior citizen.

Thus, as the Petitioners have an efficacious statutory remedy of appeal, the Petition stands disposed with liberty to exercise the appellate remedy.
