Our attention has been drawn to the order dated 7th November 2025 which indicates that a batch of writ petitions relating to delimitation exercise carried out by the respondent no.2 under the Zilla Parishads and Panchayat Samiti General Elections (Number of Members and Ward Formation) Order 2025 is posted for hearing on 27th November 2025. A challenge in this writ petition is made to the Notification dated 3rd October 2025 published by the Deputy Commissioner (Election), Thane Municipal Corporation. 2.
The objection raised by the petitioner is that the ground raised by the petitioner dated 4th September 2025 was not taken into consideration.

Having regard to the materials brought on record and the law settled on the subject that the power of legislature and its delegates 1/2 Panchal
11-WP-14420-25.doc cannot be restricted taking minor objections to the delimitation exercise, prayer for interim relief is declined. However, the petitioner shall have liberty to address the Court on the wider issue of delimitation on 27th November 2025 when the batch of writ petitions are listed for hearing.
