By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent authority - the respondent No.1 to decide the petitioner's revision application and the stay application at the earliest.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that if the application/stay application is not decided at the earliest, the petitioner's livelihood would be affected as presently the petitioner's licence is under suspension.

Learned AGP on instructions states that if the revision application cannot be decided expeditiously, the stay application will at least be decided.

Accordingly, we request respondent No.1 to decide the stay application filed by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any event within two weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

Petition is allowed and disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
