Present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking two fold reliefs; firstly in the nature of directions to respondent No.3 to forward the report of inquiry conducted under Section 39(1) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act, 1959 and secondly directions to respondent No.2 to decide the dispute application filed by petitioner under Section 39(1) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act, 1959.
915_WP_14613_2025 During the course of hearing learned AGP has tendered a letter dated 29.06.2024 and a letter dated 24.09.2025 issued by Additional Commissioner (Administration), Office of Divisional Commissioner, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar requesting the inquiry officer to forward the inquiry report so that he can decide the dispute application of petitioner which is pending before him under Section 39(1) of the said Act. Learned Advocate appearing for respondent No.3 makes a statement that inquiry report will be forwarded to respondent No.2 within a period of three weeks from today. Learned AGP further assures this Court that upon receipt of the inquiry report the dispute application of petitioner pending before respondent No.
2 will be adjudicated after giving opportunity to all the concerned, within a period of three months thereafter. With these statements from the learned Advocate for respondent No.3 and learned AGP, the writ petition stands disposed of with direction to respondent authorities to abide by the statement made before this Court.
