Heard Mr. Jhakde, learned Advocate for Petitioner and Ms Prabhune, learned AGP for Respondents - State. 2.
The only grievance expressed by Petitioners in the present Writ Petition is that the State is seized of Appeal proceedings arising out of RTS proceedings and same is pending hearing. Copy of the said Appeal is appended at Exhibit 'B' - page No.47 of the Petition. The Appeal is not numbered but it is filed on 31.01.2025. 3.
The concerned Revenue Authority of the State of Maharashtra seized with hearing of this Appeal proceedings is directed to hear the same and decide the same as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of eight (8) weeks from today.

Learned AGP shall place a copy of this order before the concerned Desk Officer of the Department of the State Government which is seized of the hearing of Appeal.

Petitioner shall appear before the concerned Authority on 22nd December 2025 at 12:00 noon since a request is made by the learned AGP that the winter season is upto 17.12.2025. 6.
All contentions of the Petitioners are expressly kept open. 7.
The learned Appellate Authority is directed to pass a reasoned speaking order after hearing Petitioners in the statutory Appeal which has been filed.

With the above directions, Writ Petition is allowed and disposed.
