In this writ petition, the petitioner has made the following prayers: - "A) The Writ Petition may kindly be allowed.

B) By issuing writ of mandamus or any other writ of like nature order,/directions to the respondent No. 1 to 6 may kindly be directed to include the petitioner's name in electoral roll of Assembly Constituency no 5 Sakri within 7 days from the date of the order, thereby issuing EpiC Voter ID card to the petitioner forthwith to enable him for exercising his vote in upcoming local body election.

C) Pending hearing and final decision of this writ petition the application dated 16.09.2024 submitted online by the petitioner may kindly be considered by the respondents forthwith." 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner refers to the online application form for new voters at page no. 19 of the paper-book and submits that the petitioner, on attaining the age of 18 years, lodged the said online application for inclusion of his name in the voters list but nothing so far has been done by the respondentAuthorities.

The aforementioned online application has been moved by the petitioner on 16th September 2024. In the said online application, there are various columns which an applicant is required to fill up. In support of his claim that his name should be included in the voters list, the petitioner has furnished the proof of residence, that is, the Voter ID of his brother. It seems that the petitioner is not having an Aadhar Card or a driving licence or a PAN Card or an Indian Passport. Besides all this, it seems that the petitioner approached this Court by filing this writ petition only on 9th September 2025. It is clear that the petitioner came to this Court through this writ petition at a belated stage. There is no statement made by the petitioner regarding the reasons why he did not approach this Court in the last one year.

In view of the aforesaid, Writ Petition No. 14799 of 2025 is JAYANT VISHWANATH SALUNKE dismissed.
