The Petitioners have filed this Petition seeking a direction to Respondent Nos. 1 to 4 to regularise the Gairan land in their name, from Gut No. 79, 85 and 268, situated at Ranjani and Ranjangaon, Taluka Paithan, Dist. Aurangabad. The Petitioners claim the possession and occupation of the subjected land has been with them since the year 1985 and 87. They rely upon the documents which are annexed to the petition showing list of encroachers on the Gairan land from the respective villages.

The Advocate for the Petitioner submits that, in view of the Government Resolution dated 28.11.1991, they have preferred an Application before the learned Tahsildar, Paithan, on 23.12.2015 seeking

2 945WP15093.2025.odt regularisation of the encroachment made by the Petitioners. However, the said application is still pending adjudication. 3.

The learned AGP appearing for the Respondent/State submits that, the representation pending before the learned Tahsildar will be decided within a period of four (4) months in accordance with the prevailing policy pertaining to the regularisation of encroachment on the Gairan lands.

In the result, we dispose of the Writ Petition with no observation but for the direction that it would be appropriate for the Collector to take into consideration the observations made by this Court while disposing of Writ Petition No. 5099 of 2024. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
