The only relief sought in this petition is prayer clause 'a', which is a direction to the Divisional Officer, Konkan Division, Mumbai, to hear and decide the petitioner's application (Number not assigned) for the year 2025 dated 28th August 2025. 2.

Learned A.G.P. on instructions states that the application, filed by the petitioner is premature, having been filed even before the N. S. Chitnis 1/2

908-wp.15165.2025.doc order being passed by the Settlement Commissioner. She further states that infact, the said application is not maintainable. 3.

Be that as it may, she states that despite the same, the Divisional Officer, Konkan Division, Mumbai, will decide the petitioner's application within two weeks from today. Statement accepted.

In view of the aforesaid statement made by the learned A.G.P., nothing survives for consideration in the present petition. Petition stands disposed of accordingly.

Needless to state, that we have not gone into the merits of the petitioner's application and as such keep all contentions of all parties on merits open.
