The present petition arises out of the rejection of the petitioner's nomination papers. Several other contentions have also been raised by the petitioner regarding the validity of the election process. However, during the pendency of the present petition, the election process has been completed, and the results have been declared.

In view thereof, an appropriate remedy available to the petitioner is to invoke Section 91 of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960, by instituting an election dispute.

All questions raised in the present petition are kept open to be agitated in appropriate proceedings under Section 91 of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960.

The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
