Stand over to 12 January 2026. In the meantime reply affidavit, if any, be filed on or before 9 January 2026. A copy of the reply be served on the petitioners well in advance.

In the meantime, the ad-interim protection granted by this Court on 8 December 2025 shall continue to operate. At this stage, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the ad-interim protection can be modified by granting protection in terms of prayer clause (G).

In the facts and circumstances of the case, we accept the request. Accordingly, in substitution of the earlier order, there shall be ad-interim relief in terms of prayer clause (G) which shall continue to operate till the adjourned date of hearing, which reads thus:

"(G) Pending hearing and final disposal of this Writ Petition, the respondent No.3 authorized Land Acquisition Officer & Sub Divisional Officer, Khed Rajgurunagar be restrained from taking any steps for disbursement of the compensation in so far as trees, borewell, pipeline, etc. is concerned, in favour of beneficiaries / siblings and for that purpose issue necessary orders."
