At the outset we may observe that considering the verification clause, the Petition is being disposed of only in respect of Petitioner Nos. 1 to 12 and 34 to

36. Rest of the Petitioners who are not part of the verification clause would not be considered as Petitioners.

As pointed out by learned counsel for the Petitioners the only relief as prayed for is that the Application No. 393/2025 filed by the Petitioner with Respondent No.1, assailing the order dated 25th September 2025, passed by the Chief Executive Officer,SRA under Section 13(2) of The Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement Clearance and Redevelopment), 1971 be expeditiously decided. In the facts and circumstances of the case, we are of the opinion that keeping open all contentions of the parties, the AGRC shall make an endeavour to decide the said application as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of 8 weeks from the day copy of this order is presented, in the first meeting to be held by the AGRC. The Petitioners and other parties shall appear before the AGRC, so that AGRC can fix an appropriate date of hearing the parties and pass an appropriate order.
