We have heard Mr. Sanjeeva Deshpande, learned senior advocate for the petitioner.

Raising a contention under Section 94 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, the grievance of the petitioners is as to what is set out in paragraph 5 of the writ petition, that the land acquisition award was passed behind back of the petitioners. Let this position be clarified by the respondents. 3.

As fairly stated before the Court on behalf of the petitioners, the petitioners are interested in having the entire land belonging to them, along with the godown, being acquired, and not merely a part of the godown which stands acquired under the award dated November 2023. Till the adjourned date of hearing, Mr. Singh, learned counsel for respondent no.2/NHAI has made a statement that the NHAI will not take any coercive measures.
