Petitioner herein had preferred Revision Application before the Respondent No. 1 against the order of the Appellate Authority passed under Section 152 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 affirming the order of the Deputy Registrar directing bifurcation of the society.

The grievance of the Petitioner is that the Revision Application which was filed in the month of April, 2025 has not yet Digitally signed by PRIYA RAJESH SOPARKAR Date:

904 WP 16438-25-C.DOC been taken up for consideration nor interim relief is considered by the Respondent No.1-The Hon'ble Minister, Cooperation, Marketing & Textiles, Mumbai.

On instructions, Mr. N. C. Walimbe, learned Addl. GP appearing for the State has submitted before us on the last date i.e. 11th December, 2025 that the Revision Application will be disposed of within a period of six months.

If that be so, we do not find any justification in keeping the Writ Petition pending before this Court.

At this stage, the Petitioner's counsel has made a prayer for interim relief.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of this case, we hereby provide that status-quo as regards the process of bifurcation of the society shall be maintained till disposal of the Revision Application or until such time, the prayer for interim order is independently considered by the Respondent No.1 and the order is passed therein, whichever is earlier.

We make is clear that this order of status-quo is only pertaining to the process of bifurcation of the society and no further.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of.
