Aggrieved by the order dated 18th November 2025, this writ petition has been filed by the petitioner who claims that he is a voter registered for the Nagar Parishad, Gadhinglaj, Dist. Kolhapur. He further claims that he belongs to scheduled caste and Gadhinglaj Nagar Parishad is a reserved seat for a candidate like him. However, his objection has been rejected by an order dated 18th November 2025.

Ms. Nimisha Sharma, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that the elections for Gadhinglaj Nagar Parishad were conducted on 2nd December 2025 and in view of that development, the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition to avail of other legal remedies as available to him in law. 3.
