The petitioner seeks a direction for inclusion of her name in the final voters' list for the Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti Election Division (Part No.85-Waki Shivane), Taluka Sangola, District Solapur.

The whole case of the petitioner is based on a document vide Exhibit-A at page no.13 of the paper-book which is the e-Electoral Photo Id Card issued in the name of the petitioner by the Election Commission of India. The learned counsel for the petitioner with reference to this document submits that as late as on 19th November 2025, the name of the petitioner was included in the voters list for the Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti Election Division (Part No.85-Waki Shivane) as her address is recorded as follows:

"Address : 0, Sangola Road, Waki, Waki, Sangola, Solapur, Maharashtra - 413307."

On a glance at Exhibit-A, it transpires that "19th November 2025" is the date on which a copy of the e-Electoral Voter Id Card was downloaded from the official website of the Election Commission of India. This date has no relevance to or cannot be a determinative factor to arrive at a conclusion that the petitioner's name stood included in the voters list for the Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti Election Division (Part No.85-Waki Shivane). The e-Electoral Voter Id Card of the petitioner was prepared long back and this document vide Annexure-A does not indicate that her name was included in the voters list prior to the cut-off date of "1st July 2025".

In view of the above, Writ Petition No.16656 of 2025 is dismissed.
