Seeking setting aside of the revised election programme vide Schedule-I published by the State Election Commission through communication dated 29th November 2025, the petitioners who claim that they are the permanent residents within the Municipal Council Deulgaon Raja, District - Buldhana have approached this Court. 2.

According to the petitioners, the original election programme published by the State Election Commission fixed the deadline for withdrawal of nomination form between 19th to 21st November 2025. For allotment of symbol and publication of list of valid candidates, the State Election Commission had fixed the date as on 26th November 2025. However, under the revised election programme, the candidates

PDP 911-WP-16662-2025.doc are permitted to withdraw their nomination form by 10th December 2025. The petitioners seem to be aware of the orders passed in Writ Petition Nos. 7508 of 2025, 7512 of 2025 and 7517 of 2025 by the High Court of Bombay, Nagpur Bench. In the order dated 2nd December 2025, a co-ordinate Bench of this Court observed that the election result should be published together on 21st December 2025.

In any view of the matter, extension of time through revised election schedule would only benefit to the candidates who intended to contest the election.
