The present petition arises from an order passed by the Registrar dropping the proceedings initiated under Section 75(5) read with Section 78A(1)(b) of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960. Against the said order, the petitioners have an efficacious alternative statutory remedy available under the Act. 2.

In view of the availability of such alternative statutory remedy, and keeping all the questions raised in the present petition open to be agitated in the appropriate statutory proceedings, the petition stands disposed of.
