Assailing the order dated 28th March, 2025 passed by the Respondent No.3, the Writ Petitioner had preferred appeal before the Respondent No.2 i.e. The Divisional Commissioner, Konkan on 5th June, 2025. However, it is the submission of the Petitioner's counsel that no action has been taken on the said Appeal till date. As such, the Petitioner has been compelled to approach this Court by filing this present Petition.

Mr. P. G. Sawant, learned AGP appearing for the State submits that a direction may be issued by the Court to dispose of the Appeal within a reasonable time.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, we dispose of the Writ Petition by providing that 23rd December, 2025.
