Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioners. 2.

The challenge in this petition is to an order dated 3rd June, 2025 passed by the Maintenance Tribunal under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 ("the Act, 2007"). In view of the Division Bench Judgment of this Court in the case of Jagdish Pitambar Pawar vs. Pitambar Pundalik Pawar1, an appeal against the order passed by the Maintenance Tribunal is maintainable before the Appellate Authority under Section 16 of the Act, 2007. WP/36/2023 Aurangabad Bench of High Court at Bombay, dated 29/11/2023. 1/2

The petition, thus, stands disposed with liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal against the order passed by the Maintenance Tribunal.

In the event, such an appeal is filed within a period of four weeks, the Appellate Authority is requested to hear and decide the appeal as expeditiously as possible.
