The solitary prayer put forth by the Petitioners is that Respondent No.1 be directed to decide Gram Panchayat Dispute Application No.4 of 2025 expeditiously and, in any event, before 31.12.2025.

The learned Addl.GP submits that the term of the concerned Gram Panchayat of Dongargaon, Taluka Deola, District Nashik, has expired.

Be that as it may, Respondent No. 1 will have to decide the pending proceeding by following the due procedure laid down in law, if the Complainant prosecutes the said Application under the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, 1959.

As such, this Writ Petition is disposed off with a direction to Respondent No.1 to issue fresh notices to the Complainant and the Respondents in the pending dispute. For the said purpose, notice to the Complainant/Non-Applicant/Respondents would be issued within a period of 10 days from today.
