The petitioners, who claim themselves to be the public spirited persons, have filed this PIL seeking a direction to the respondents to revise the design of the bridge being constructed on National Highway No. 965 so as to have two underpasses each one having a height of 20 feet and width of 35 feet below the bridge at the intersection of National Highway No. 965 and Taradgaon road.

Learned counsel for the petitioners, after arguing the matter to a considerable extent, submits that he be granted liberty to submit a representation with regard to the grievance of the petitioners and the competent authority be directed to decide the representation submitted by the petitioners expeditiously.

In view of the aforesaid submission, the petitioners are granted liberty to submit a representation to the competent authority. Needless to state that in case such representation is made, the competent authority shall take appropriate decision on the same by a speaking order, expeditiously. 4.
With the aforesaid direction, the PIL is disposed of. 5.
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petition.
