In this Public Interest Litigation, the petitioner, who claims himself to be President of a Labour Union and public spirited individual, has sought a declaration that Proposed Modification No.SS-27, Sanpada Node, Navi Mumbai, published in Draft Development Plan vide corrigendum dated 30th December, 2024 by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation be declared as illegal and void.

After arguing the matter to some extent, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave of this Court to withdraw the PIL with the liberty to pursue the objection which has been preferred by the petitioner in response to the Draft Development Plan.

Accordingly, the PIL is disposed of as withdrawn in terms of the liberty as prayed for.
