The Petitioner claims to be a businessman and resides in Dombivali (East).

In this Public Interest Litigation, the Petitioner has prayed for the following relief :- "(a) Be pleased to direct to the State to provide the copy of the approved Tender and disclose the details of total land allocated till today to Adani Group for Dharavi's 590 acres and also disclose, how much more land the State Government is going to allot to Adani Group for the Dharavi redevelopment." 3.
In the Petition, the Petitioner has made the following averment :- 1/2
JPP 10. PIL 62.2025.doc " The Petitioner states that, he is just eager to know that how much total land is needed extra by Adani Group or its Company Navbharat Mega Developers Pvt. Ltd. (NMDPL) to Redevelop Dharavi's existing 590 acres."

The issue with regard to legality and validity of the action of the Respondents in developing Dharavi redevelopment project was a subject matter of a Writ Petition No. 4823 of 2022 (Seclink Technologies Corporation v/s. State of Maharashtra and Ors.). A Division Bench of this Court vide order dated 20 December 2024 has dismissed the Writ Petition. There is no element of public interest involved in this Petition. 5.
