On instructions, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners made a statement that the petitioners and respondents amicably settled the dispute by filing compromise pursis before the learned District and Sessions Judge, Nilanga in Regular Civil Appeal No. 34 of 2017. The xerox copy of the said pursis Exhibit 96 and order dated 24.12.2025 passed by the learned District Judge, Nilanga in Regular Civil Appeal No. 34 of 2017 is taken on record. 2.

Since both the parties have amicably settled the dispute by filing compromise pursis Exhibit 97 before the learned First Appellate Court in appeal No. 34 of 2017. Hence the present petition is stand disposed of.
