IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

BENCH AT AURANGABAD FAMILY COURT APPEAL NO. 66 OF 2023 WITH CIVIL APPLICATION NO. 167 OF 2026 IN FCA/66/2023 Pravin Arjun Jadhav

VERSUS

Pranita Gautam Bansode @ Pranita Pravin Jadhav And Anr Mr. H. S. Surve, Advocate for appellant (through VC)

CORAM

: Smt. Vibha Kankanwadi & Hiten S. Venegavkar, JJ.

DATE : 07th January, 2026 PER COURT :- 1.

Perused communication by learned Judge, Family Court, seeking extension of time to decide petition C-26/2012. Taking into consideration the progress that has been made without observing anything, we extend the time to decide the said petition by one year. 2.

Learned Advocate, Mr. Surve, appears through Video Conferencing and submits that he has also filed civil application for extension of time.

3.

In our opinion, the petitioner had no locus to file any application for extension of time when it comes to the order given by the superior Court to the Court under its supervision that it should decide a particular matter in particular period. In other words, it would be the matter between two Courts. Under such circumstance, Civil Application filed by the petitioner stands disposed of.
