The caste claim of the petitioner has been rejected. Against it, present writ petition has been filed. Subsequently, the selection list has been declared. Pursuant thereto, the petitioner is claiming directions against the Sub Divisional Officer to issue him an appointment. His caste claim was pending since before the selection list was published. It is the prerogative of the employer to get the services of the employee. Mere selection of the candidate does not create a right against the employer.

We expressed disinclination to grant relief as such. Thereon, counsel for the petitioner submits that this application may be heard with the main writ petition. We accept his request.
