Heard the respective counsels.

The petitioners contention is that the advertisement in question dated 31.12.2024 is going to affect their rights to reinstate in service after their retrenchment. However, the advertisement is very specific for filling up the 50% posts for Agriculture University Project affected persons (PAP).

After having interaction with both counsels, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that those who are eligible as per the

Learned counsel for the university states that they never denied anybody to submit the application. Today is the last date for submitting applications. Learned counsel for the university is correct in contending that the eligibility criterion is as per the advertisement dated 31.12.2024. Petitioners are at liberty to submit their applications in response to the advertisement dated 31.12.2024. 5.

The applications of all the retrenched daily wagers be accepted till 07.02.2025. The applications from the petitioners should be scrutinized on merit.
