As per order dated 04.12.2023 while admitting the Appeal, this Court granted stay to the order of the Commercial Court, subject to the Appellant/State depositing 50% of the decreetal amount within a period of eight weeks.

Although substantial amount appears to have been deposited by Appellant/State, some amount still remains to be deposited. It appears to be in the range of about Rupees Seventy Six Lakhs.

The State is granted time of four weeks, as a last chance, to fully comply with the aforesaid order dated 04.12.2023 by depositing the remaining amount.

The application filed by the Respondents for withdrawing the deposited amount shall be taken up for consideration on the next date of hearing.
