CORAM : MANGESH S. PATIL & S.G. CHAPALGAONKAR, JJ.

DATE : 8th April, 2025.

P.C. :- 1.

Heard learned AGP for applicants. Applicants seek to condone delay of 579 days caused in filing the review petition against the judgment and order dated 8.6.2023 passed in W.P. No. 8892 of 2021. Learned AGP submits that delay has occasioned on account of administrative reasons. In fact, after passing of order by this Court, when the case of respondents (original petitioners) was examined, it was noticed that they were not working as "Full Time Librarian" on 1.11.2005 and their services cannot be treated as pensionable in the light of pronouncements of this Court and Supreme Court of India. Accordingly, opinion was obtained from Law and Judiciary Department and review application has been filed.
