Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners. 2.

By present petition, the petitioners are assailing the order dated 25/03/2017 passed in Lok Adalat in LAR No.150/2012. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he was present before the Lok Adalat at the time of passing award. It was agreed before the Lok Adalat that respondents shall pay the amount within a period of six months from the date of order. But the amount was paid to the

Dilwale 2 104-WP-14028-21 group.odt petitioners after 2.5 years, therefore, they are claiming interest for the aforesaid period.

The petitioners have alternate remedy to claim interest before the competent authority, therefore, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to file appropriate proceedings claiming interest on the delayed payment.

If such application claiming interest is filed, the concerned authority shall consider the same and pass an order in accordance with law.
