This is an application for condonation of delay of 777 days caused in filing the cross appeal. Heard learned advocate for the applicant and respondent No.2. Considering the reasons stated in the application, it is crystal clear that the delay is not deliberately caused. The application deserves to be allowed in the interest of justice. The application is thus, allowed in terms of prayer clause "B" and disposed of.

It is clarified that the claimant shall not be entitled for interest on the amount of enhanced compensation for the delayed period.
