The averments of the applications have not been traversed by the contesting parties. There is no reason to infer any mala fides on the part of the applicants, who are land owners. They are ready to give up interest and statutory benefits for the delayed period as well as for the period of lapses. 6.

The delay stands condoned on condition that the applicants shall not entitled to interest and statutory benefits for the delayed period as well as for the period of lapses i.e. from the date of filing of the applicants till passing of the first orders in each application. 7.
