Heard the learned counsel for the parties. Perused the applications.

CIVIL APPLICATION NO. 5798 OF 2025 This is an application for condonation of delay of 880 days caused in filing the cross appeal.

The learned counsel for respondent strongly opposed the application and submitted that there is no sufficient reason to condone the delay.

955.odt On perusal of the application, it appears that the delay has not been deliberately caused. Therefore, in the interest of justice, the delay deserves to be condoned.

For the reasons stated in the application, the delay stands condoned. The application stands allowed in the interest of justice. The cross appeal be registered.

CIVIL APPLICATION NO. 3415 OF 2023 This is an application seeking stay to the execution of the impugned judgment and award.

The learned counsel for the applicant / appellant submits that the entire amount as per the impugned judgment and award is deposited in this Court.

In view of the above, there shall be stay to the impugned judgment and award till the pendency of the appeal. The application stands disposed of.
