This is an application filed by the appellant seeking extension of time to deposit the cheque amount. It is stated that by order dated 07.02.2023 passed in C. A. No.1351/2023, ad-interim relief in terms of prayer clause "A" was granted subject to deposit of the entire amount of compensation along with interest accrued, within twelve weeks from the date of the order. It is submitted that the amount could not be deposited within the time granted for the reasons beyond control of the appellant. It is stated that now the amount

( 2 ) 941 CA 6164 OF 2025 is ready and the cheque can be deposited, however in view of lapse of time, an extension is required to be granted.

Considering the reasons mentioned in the Civil Application, particularly paragraph Nos.3 and 4, the Civil Application is allowed. 3.

The applicant is permitted to deposit the cheque of Rs.10,10,309/- within one week from today.

Registry is directed to accept the cheque.

The Civil Application is disposed of.
