DATE :
24.04.2026 PER COURT :
1.
The present application is filed seeking condonation of delay of 1946 days in filing the Review Application. The ground urged is that the applicant had challenged the order under review before the Hon'ble Apex Court by filing SLP (C) No. 12696 of 2019. The said SLP came to be dismissed by order dated 19.12.2024, as the Hon'ble Apex Court did not interfere with the impugned judgment passed by the High Court. 2.
The applicant contends that he was bona fide prosecuting the remedy before the Hon'ble Apex Court and after dismissal of the SLP, has preferred the present Review Application. It is thus submitted that there is, in fact, no delay and that the period spent in pursuing the SLP deserves to be excluded while computing limitation.
2 910 CA 7531-2025.odt 3.
We are not inclined to accept the said submission, particularly in the absence of any liberty granted by the Hon'ble Apex Court to file a Review Application. No sufficient cause is made out for condonation of delay of 1946 days.
4.
The Civil Application, therefore, stands dismissed. [ VAISHALI PATIL JADHAV, J. ] [ N. B. SURYAWANSHI, J. ] Pooja Kale/
