Learned Advocate for Applicant points out that, while disposing Writ Petition No. 1174 of 2025 by order dated 23.01.2025, passed by this Court, directions were given to decide proceedings pending before Family Court within a period of six months from date of order. 2.

Later on, a communication dated 02.07.2025 was received to this Court seeking extension of time, along with recommendation of learned Principal Judge, Family Court. Accordingly, time to decide Petition No. D 23/2024 was extended.

Learned Advocate appearing for Applicant submits that extension 1184 CA 9884.2025.odt

of two years was asked for and same has been granted, which would frustrate entire claim of Applicant, as the matter pertains to custody of minors and one of them would shortly attain majority.

In light of aforesaid submissions, learned Principal Judge, Family Court at Aurangabad to submit independent report to this Court as to how much period would be required for expeditious disposal of Petition No. D 23/2024.

The learned Registrar (Judicial) of this Court shall endeavour to obtain report within a period of one week from today. 6.
