The present contempt petition arises out of the alleged wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in terms of the consent terms executed between the parties in proceedings arising out of their domestic relationship.

Clause 15 of the said consent terms makes reference to the Non-Cognizable Complaints (NCs) filed by Respondent No. 1. By virtue of the said clause, Respondent No. 1 had agreed to withdraw all the NCs referred to therein.

The learned Advocate appearing for Respondent No. 1 has placed on record a copy of the communication dated 11th October 2025, along with the acknowledgment issued by the concerned

8-CP-36-2026.doc police station, thereby evidencing that Respondent No. 1 has sought withdrawal of all seven NCs pending before the said police station.

In view of the aforesaid communication and acknowledgment, and considering that the said NCs arise out of a domestic relationship between the parties, the concerned police station shall pass appropriate orders permitting withdrawal of the said NCs and to treat the same as closed in terms of the consent terms.

In light of the above, nothing further survives for adjudication in the present contempt petition. The contempt petition is accordingly disposed of.
