After hearing the matter for some time, the learned advocate appearing for the Respondent, upon receipt of the notice issued by this Court, submits that she will take instructions regarding the deposit of 50% of the arrears amount. According to the learned advocate for the Petitioner the arrears of the maintenance is Rs.21,75,646/-. According to him, there is a medical emergency, the Petitioner is directed to undergo a biopsy, hence, she needs the amount of maintenance which is granted in her favour urgently.
