This Contempt Petition has been filed for non-compliance of the order dated 30 January 2025, passed by this Court in Public Interest Litigation No. 31 of 2024.

It appears that the persons aggrieved by the action initiated by the Respondents in pursuance of the directions contained in the order dated 30 January 2025 passed in PIL No. 31 of 2024 had approached this Court by filing a Writ Petition viz. Writ Petition No. 6682 of 2025. In the aforesaid Writ Petition, a Division Bench of this Court has granted an interim order on 26 May 2025. Therefore, no further action in the matter has been taken. 1/2

We have heard the learned Counsel for the parties. 4.
The subject matter of the Contempt Petition is sub judice in another Petition. The issue with regard to compliance of the directions contained in the order dated 30 January 2025 in PIL 31 of 2025 is pending consideration in Writ Petition No. 6682 of 2025. Therefore, no case for willful disobedience of the directions contained in the order is made out. 5.
Accordingly, the Petition for Contempt being misconceived, is dismissed.
