This is a Contempt Petition alleging non-compliance of the directions issued by us in our order dated 26 August 2025.

Mr. Pathak, learned counsel for the Respondent Nos.1 and 2 states that as per instructions given to him, the goods are under directions for "out of charge", by this, he means that once the detention charges are paid by the Petitioner, the seized goods would be actually released to the Petitioner. He further states that detention charges have to be paid to the

The learned counsel for the Petitioner states that the Petitioner will pursue the matter with the CFS, if necessary, pay the detention charges under protest and after that, pursue with the representation for refund of such charges. 4.

The above course of action at least, prima facie, would be consistent with the liberty granted to the Petitioner in paragraph 8 of our order of 26 August 2025. 5.

We expect that this issue of compliance is sorted out within this week. Therefore, the concerned Respondents must act with utmost despatch.

We list this matter on 16 September 2025, by which date, the parties can report compliance.

All concerned to act upon an authenticated copy of this order.
