Heard learned counsel for the parties.

By this petition, the petitioner essentially seeks action to be taken against the respondent No.2 under the Contempt of Courts Act 1/3

for willful disobedience for not complying with the order dated 23rd August 2023 passed by this Court in Review Petition (Stamp) No.29872 of 2019.

Learned A.G.P. has tendered a letter dated 14th October 2025 of the Desk Officer, Government of Maharashtra. The same is taken on record. Learned A.G.P. on instructions of the Desk Officer, who is present in this Court states that the entire procedure of complying with the order dated 23rd August 2023 will take a period of eight weeks. He states that within eight weeks the order dated 23rd August 2023 will be complied with, inasmuch as, the amounts will be disbursed to the petitioner within the said period. Statement accepted. 4.

In view of the aforesaid statement made by the learned A.G.P. on instructions, nothing survives for consideration in the present petition. Petition stands disposed of accordingly. 2/3

Needless to state that, if the amount is not disbursed as directed by this Court vide order dated 23rd August 2023 within eight weeks from today, we will be constrained to take appropriate steps against the authorities concerned.

Petition is accordingly disposed of on the aforesaid terms. 7.

Stand over to 16th December 2025, for recording compliance of the aforesaid order.
