Respondent No.1 is an Education Officer. A hearing in this matter in deference to the order of the Writ Court dated 31st July, 2024, is scheduled on 8th October, 2025, before Respondent No.4.

We are informed that Respondent No.4, Mr. Sandeep Sangave, Deputy Director of Education, Mumbai Region, is presently under suspension. The Deputy Director of

Education, Incharge of Mumbai Region for the present, will conduct the hearing and will dispose of the proceedings with a reasoned order, on or before 15th November, 2025.

The learned AGP submits, on instructions, that Respondent No.4 would grant a reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the stakeholders. On or before 15th November, 2025, a final order would be passed with reasons. The order would be communicated by E-mail to the Management as well as the present Petitioner, on his E-mail Address, within a period of seven days of the passing of the order.

In the event, Respondent No.4 does not honor the above recorded statements, the conduct of the said Officer would be treated as aggravated Contempt, and we would permit the Petitioner to file an Interim Application for the restoration of the Contempt Petition.

With the above statements having been recorded and the direction set out in the foregoing paragraph, this Contempt Petition, by consent, is disposed off.
