The Petitioner complains of non-compliance of the directions issued by this Court in its order dated 26 November 2025, in Writ Petition No. 8000 of 2024.

The learned counsel for the Petitioner states that neither has the Petitioner been heard nor has any order being made by the 2nd Respondent on the Petitioner's Appeal, though the directions were to dispose of this Appeal within six weeks from the date of the order dated 26 February 2025, is made available to the 2nd Respondent.

Accordingly, we issue notice to the 2nd Respondent. The 2nd Respondent may file an affidavit explaining the status of compliance and in any event, the 2nd Respondent may, even proceed to dispose of the Appeal after hearing the Petitioner. We post this matter for further consideration on 11 February 2026.

The Petitioner to take immediate steps to serve the 2nd Respondent with the copy of the Petition and the order that we have now made.
