We have heard learned counsel for the parties in the present proceedings, which were earlier adjourned as the order dated 25th July 2025 passed by the First Bench of this Court in Writ Petition No. 13614 of 2018 had been challenged by the Respondents before the Supreme Court. 2.

We are informed by Mr. Joshi, learned counsel for the Respondents, that the Supreme Court, by its order dated 28th November 2025, has dismissed the Special Leave Petition bearing Appeal (C) No. 34042 of 2025. In view of the above, Mr. Joshi has stated that the appointment order will be issued to the Petitioner.

We accordingly direct that the orders passed by this Court be complied with without further delay and, in any event, within a period of two weeks from today.

For these reasons, we do not propose to proceed further with the present contempt petition. However, in the event of any further non-compliance, the Petitioner shall be at liberty to revive the petition. 5.
