The learned AGP has taken instructions as regards the compliance of the directions of this Court set out in the judgment dated 1st April, 2025 delivered in Writ Petition Nos.3202 of 2022 and 4450 of 2025. A photostat copy of the communication from Dr. Smita Desai, Desk Officer, Department of School Education and Sports, Government of Maharashtra, dated 24th November, 2025 addressed to the learned AGP, is placed on record. The same is marked as 'X'

for identification.

The learned AGP further submits that Shri. Samir Sawant, Deputy Secretary, School Education, has instructed her to state that the directions set out in our judgment dated 1st April, 2025, wherein we have granted 90 days for compliance, would be complied with, within four weeks.

In view of the above statement, we are granting 45 days to Respondent Nos.1 and 2 to ensure that our directions are complied with, as against the 30 days requested by the State. In the event the directions are not complied with despite the extended time, we would hold Respondent Nos.1 and 2

responsible for aggravated contempt.

With the above directions, by consent, these two Contempt Petitions are disposed off.
