We are informed by learned counsel for the SRA that action has already been initiated against the developer under Section 13(2) of the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971, and that orders on such proceedings have been reserved. In this view of the matter, the updated position be placed on record by way of an affidavit on or before the adjourned date of hearing.

List the proceedings on 14 January 2026 (H.O.B.). 3.

In the meantime, in the event there is any deposit made by the developer against whom action is being taken, and as the developer is already in default in payment of transit rent in view of the circulars and orders issued by the Chief Executive Officer, the petitioner be paid from such deposit, if such amounts are available.
