The petitioner has filed the present contempt petition alleging willful disobedience on the part of the respondents of the order passed by this Court dated 3 September 2025 in Writ Petition No. 6479 of 2024.

It is informed that the Supreme Court, in Special Leave Petition (Civil) Diary No. 71437 of 2025, by its order dated 19 December 2025, has granted stay to the operation of the order which forms the subject matter of the present contempt petition. 3.

In view of the subsisting stay granted by the Supreme Court, it cannot be said, as on date, that the respondents have willfully disobeyed the order passed by this Court. However, depending

8-cp-794-2025.doc upon the final decision of the proceedings before the Supreme Court, it shall be open to the petitioner to revive the present grievance in accordance with law; in the event the Special Leave Petition is dismissed, the stay is vacated, or the respondents fail to comply with the order thereafter.

The contempt petition stands disposed of.
