By the present Contempt Petition, the Petitioner contends that the directions issued by this Court in its order dated
9th June, 2025, passed in Criminal Writ Petition (ST) No. 11886 of 2024 were not complied with within the time stipulated by this Court.
3.
Paragraph No. 4 of the order dated 9th June, 2025, passed in Criminal Writ Petition (ST) No. 11886, reads as follows :- "4.We dispose of this Petition by directing the Commissioner of Police, Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune, to apply its mind to the factual matrix of the cases and pass a reasoned order dealing with the request made by the Petitioner for expeditious disposal as early as possible and in any event, within a period of four weeks from today."
4.
Mr. Asif Patel, learned Government Pleader for the Respondents, craves leave to tender the affidavit-in-reply dated 10th February, 2026, affirmed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-I, Pimpri-Chinchwad Commissionerate, District Pune. He submits that the advance copy of the affidavit-in-reply was served on Zeeshan Siddique.
5.
Mr. Asif Patel, at the outset, points out paragraph No. 2 in the affidavit-in-reply, wherein the Deputy Commissioner of
Police has tendered an unconditional apology for the delay in disposing of the representations dated 13th June, 2025, 16th August, 2025 and 15th September, 2025. After tendering an unconditional apology, the Deputy Commissioner of Police has given the reasons for the delay in disposing of the said three representations. Said reasons are found in paragraphs Nos. 5 & 6 of the affidavit dated 10th February, 2026.
6.
Mr. Asif Patel submits that the representations have been decided and disposed of on 18th November, 2025 and copies of the same are placed along with the affidavit-in-reply as ExhibitB, page Nos. 47 to 50. Mr. Siddique Zeeshan submits that the Petitioner is aggrieved by the said decision and he would take recourse to the remedies available in law. He does not contest the contents of paragraph Nos. 5 & 6 of the affidavit-in-reply dated 10th February,
2026, filed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-I, PimpriChinchwad Commissionerate, District Pune. 8.
In view of the above and taking on record the unconditional apology tendered by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-I, Pimpri-Chinchwad Commissionerate, District Pune, as also the fact of the representations being disposed of, nothing further would survive in this Petition.
9.
In view of the above, Contempt Petition No. 813 of 2025 is disposed of.
