DATE : 9 JANUARY, 2026 P.C. :- 1) By this transfer application filed by the applicant, wife of the respondent seeks transfer of the divorce proceedings filed by the husband before the Civil Judge Senior Division, Khed, Pune to the Family Court at Bandra, Mumbai.
2) It is applicant's case that she is staying with her 4 and 1⁄2 year old daughter at her parents' house in Mumbai. She had filed divorce proceedings in which interim maintenance order has been passed of Rs.7,500/- to be paid to her and her daughter by the respondent-husband. The respondent-husband is in arrears of the interim maintenance amount. The respondent-husband is the owner
KVM 2/2 5 - MCA 152 OF 2025.doc of the shop in Pune. He has during the pendency of the present proceedings, illegitimately married another lady and is now a father of one year old son. It is difficult for the applicant-wife to travel to Khed, Pune to attend the Court proceedings.
3) Ms.Shilpa Naik, learned advocate has appeared on behalf of the respondent who is present in Court. She is seeking a short accommodation in order to file her Vakalatnama and also to give an offer of an amicable settlement to the applicant. 4) Stand over to 13 January, 2026. Matter to be treated as a Part Heard.
5) Ad-interim relief granted earlier, if any, to continue till the next date of the hearing.
6) The respondent is directed to remain present on the next date of the hearing.
