DATE : 30 SEPTEMBER, 2025 P.C. :- 1) It has been submitted before me that both, the applicant and the respondent are deaf and dumb. It is further submitted before me that the husband has filed the divorce proceedings in the year 2023 before the Family Court at Bandra, Mumbai and the respondentwife has filed D.V. proceedings before the Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Borivali. So also, Section 498A proceedings are pending before the Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Andheri. The applicant is also staying with his son of 20 years of age at Vile Parle. 2) On behalf of the respondent-wife, her brother is present in Court, who submitted that their lawyer is not able to attend proceedings today. He submits that the earlier, maintenance of around
KVM 2/2 72 - MCA 189 OF 2025.doc Rs.1,80,000/- is still to be paid. It is also submitted by the brother of the respondent-wife that the applicant has gifted his share in the property to his sister, in order to avoid any payment to be made to the respondent-wife.
3) Learned advocate Mr.Shah appearing on behalf of the applicant-husband submits that the outstanding amount is not Rs.1,80,000/- but it is approximately Rs.50,000/-. 4) Mr.Shah on instructions from his client who is present in Court submits that within a period of two weeks, the outstanding amount will be cleared. Statement is accepted. 5) Stand over to 15 October, 2025.
